Oliver & Violet: Newborn Session

I don't know where to start with these two...there are just no words! Oliver and Violet are the sweetest little babies and I was so excited to photograph them. This was my first time shooting twins and they melted my heart! I go crazy over one little baby, so I was on cuteness overload with two! During the shoot, their parents were amazing. They were so calm and had caring for them down to a science. I now have a totally new appreciation for parents of twins and I was blown away by Violet and Oliver's parents. AMAZING.

Little Oliver was content sleeping most of the time, while his sister, Violet, wanted to be in on all the action and stayed wide awake most of the shoot.

I love how Oliver looks so happy and content to sleep and Violet looks bored!

My First Shout Out!

So I'm shooting Susie and Brian's wedding this October and I couldn't be more excited! These two are the cutest couple and I'm really looking forward to their big day.

Susie has really embraced being a bride. She reads wedding magazines, looks up do-it-yourself wedding details, and regularly looks at wedding blogs. When Susie told me she was chosen to be a guest blogger on Elizabeth Anne Designs, I was so happy for her! Elizabeth Anne Designs is a fantastic and beautiful wedding blog that is a wonderful resource for brides, and Susie was going to be featured as a bride!

So I've been checking the blog daily, anxious to see Susie's post and today it was up! Not only did Susie get to be a guest blogger, but she gave me a little shout out by including a photograph I did for their engagement shoot. My very first official wedding blog shout out! WOO-HOO!!!

Old Made New #3

I came across this photo years ago while looking through my grandparents' old photographs. My grandmother said it's one of her very favorite photos of her and my grandfather. I think it's one of my favorites as well.

Although it's hard to tell, the original photo to the left was really damaged. It was covered in so many scratches and a lot of dust, but it cleaned up nicely!
